Collecting all your Agricultural Waste Processing and Recycling Agricultural Waste Allowing you to comply easily with the EEC Waste Directive.
From 15th May 2006 legislation was implemented, which will prevent the burning or burying of Agricultural Waste. From 15th May 2007 farmers and growers will no longer be allowed to incinerate pesticide containers. From May 2007 hazardous waste regulations come in to force for agriculture. Batteries, Waste Oil, Oil Filters, Grease Cartridges and Fluorescent tubes become hazardous waste. You will need a licence to have more than 500 litres or kg on the farm at any one time, we are intending to provide a limited service. Ask for more details. Under the Waste Directive this will include pesticide containers, seed and fertilizer bags, silage wrap, string and bale wrap, crop cover, cardboard, vegetable pack house consumables etc. Agri.cycle will collect and accept, process and recycle your waste; examples of products made are fence posts, garden furniture, garden composters etc. We have produced a Code of Practice to help Farmers meet their obligations as a Waste Holder.
